   ST JAMES, ST MARY'S & ST BOTOLPH'S CHURCH WELCOME SHEET - 1ST NOVEMBER 2020    1 November, 2020

The Benefice of St. James, High Wych,

St. Mary, Gilston and St. Botolph, Eastwick

Sunday 1st November – All Souls Day

8.00am BCP Holy Communion, St James, High Wych  

9.30am Family Service, St James, High Wych

4.30pm All Souls Service, St James, High Wych

A very warm welcome to everybody, especially if you are a visitor to any of our churches

It is necessary to wear face covering in church buildings –Choirs are permitted to sing in church buildings; unfortunately, the congregation are not permitted to do so.

The service will be streamed and broadcasted at approximately the same time as the live service is taking place. The services will also be available online afterwards.

Sarah Bagnall leads evening prayer on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm, in St Botolph’s Church and St. Mary’s Church. These services are streamed

Benefice churches are opening for private prayer.  St James is open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2pm until 4pm. An information notice is displayed inside and outside the church.

For advice on opening St Botolph’s and St Mary’s Churches, for private prayer.  Please contact Sarah Bagnall who will advise. 

Please continue to pray that the Coronavirus pandemic will return to a manageable level and again restrictions can be safely lifted.  Stay safe and care for yourselves and others.

Remembrance Sunday –Services will be held completely indoors this year. Wreaths will be placed on church altars during the services and then placed on the memorials after the service.

St James, High Wych. 9.30am Holy Communion followed at 10.50am by a service of Remembrance

St Mary, Gilston.  10.50am Service of Remembrance followed by Holy Communion.

Rev’d Su will lead us through a consideration of the Magnificat - Mary’s Song, Benedictus - Zechariah’s song, Song of Simeon - Nunc Dimitis, and the song of the Angels -.Luke 2:8-19 . We will meet on Zoom on Mondays at 7.30pm. If you would like to join, please email Su on su.tarran@ntlworld.com, and she will send course details and zoom joining instructions before the first session on 30.11.2020.
