   ST JAMES, ST MARY'S & ST BOTOLPH'S CHURCH WELCOME SHEET - 6TH SEPTEMBER    6 September, 2020

The Benefice of St. James, High Wych,

St. Mary, Gilston and St. Botolph, Eastwick

Sunday 6th September – 14th after Pentecost

8.00am Holy Communion, St James, High Wych

9.30am Family Service, St James, High Wych

The services will be streamed and broadcasted at approximately the same time as the live service is taking place. The services will also be available online afterwards.

Sarah Bagnall leads evening prayer on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm, in St Botolph’s Church and St. Mary’s Church. These services are streamed

Benefice churches are opening for private prayer.  St James is open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2pm until 4pm. An information notice is displayed inside and outside the church.

For advice on opening St Botolph’s and St Mary’s Churches, for private prayer.  Please contact Sarah Bagnall who will advise. 

Please continue to pray that the Coronavirus pandemic will continue to decrease.  Stay safe and care for yourselves and others.

    It is now necessary to wear face covering in church buildings – small choirs can sing in churches; the congregation cannot sing.

    High Wych PCC will meet after the Family service on Sunday 6th September 2020

    The Harvest Service at St James on 20th September has been moved to 11.00am, followed by a bring your own picnic lunch.  (restrictions at the time permitting).

    Rosemarie Abbott would appreciate some tinned or packaged harvest gifts a week early to be used to decorate St James

    The Harvest Festival Service at St Botolph’s, Eastwick is on Sunday 27th September at 11.15am and will be followed by Harvest Lunch.

    Collections will be taken at both services for the Bishops 2020 ‘Creating a buzzing Nepal’ Appeal

    Tuesday afternoons 2.30 to 4pm The social group is cancelled due to the school being back (parking!!)

    God of Mission send your Holy Spirit to give vision to our planning, wisdom to our actions, and power to our witness. Help our churches grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to you and service to our local community, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen
