   ST JAMES, ST MARY'S & ST BOTOLPH'S CHURCH WELCOME SHEET 3RD MAY    3 May, 2020

The Benefice of St. James, High Wych,

St. Mary, Gilston and St. Botolph, Eastwick

Sunday 3rd May - Fourth Sunday of Easter

8.00am BCP

9.30am Family Service

The Rev’d Su Tarran will be streaming both services for us all from her home and the services will be broadcast at 8am and 9.30am. For this we give her thanks and for her continued commitment to us in this Benefice.

Our churches remain closed. Please continue to pray for the Coronavirus situation, for all the people who are suffering in any way. Let us all do our share in stamping out this virus by following the governments directions. If you are self-isolating a phone call to a friend or lonely person keeps us in touch. Pray for the NHS, care workers and all the key workers who continue to work during this challenging time to keep us safe.

The Dean of Southwark’s Coronavirus prayer: -

Loving God, source of healing and comfort, fill us with your grace, that the sick may be made whole, that those who care for them may be strengthened, that the anxious may be calmed, and those most vulnerable be protected in the power of the Spirit and in the faith of Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen

The monthly prayer group and the coffee shop are cancelled for now, but will return after the lockdown. 

Food Bank – items are always needed for desperate families; instead of leaving them at St James, please donate in-store when if and when you are shopping
