Road Closure: Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019
On behalf of Essex County Council, Bouygues UK Ltd are undertaking essential works on Fifth Avenue– Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 as part of the Harlow Sustainable Transport Corridor project.
As a result of these works, a road closure will take place in both directions on Fifth Avenue –Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 between the Burnt Mill Roundabout and the Sainsbury’s Roundabout.
This closure will begin at 8pm on Friday 24th
 of October, with Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue
A1019 remaining closed until 5am on Monday 27th
 of October 2025.
The road closure on Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 is required to carry out surfacing on boththe northbound and southbound carriageways, with a full closure in both directions needed to ensurepublic and workforce safety. Please note that these works are weather dependent, and dates may
change subject to weather conditions.

ROAD CLOSURES – VELIZY ROUNDABOUT

On behalf of Essex County Council, Bouygues UK Ltd are undertaking essential works on the Velizy Roundabout as part of the Harlow Sustainable Transport Corridor project. As part of these works, each of the
following junctions on the Velizy Roundabout will be closed on the dates and at the times below:
• On Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019, in both directions between the Sainsbury’s Roundabout and Velizy Roundabout
• On First Avenue, in both directions between the Park Lane Mini-Roundabout and Velizy Roundabout
• On Fourth Avenue, in both direction between the North Gate Roundabout and Velizy Roundabout
• On Velizy Avenue, in both directions between the Water Gardens Roundabout and Velizy
o Please note: Access will be granted to businesses requiring access to Crown Gate and for public
accessing the multi-storey car park, via the Water Gardens Roundabout. Businesses and residents
needing access to Terminus street will be able to do so via Post Office Road.
The above closures will be in place at the following dates and times:
• Nightly from 8pm until 5am, on Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th
 and Thursday 30^th of October 2025
• From 8pm on Friday 31 st of October until 12pm midday on Sunday 2nd November 2025
• Nightly from 8pm until 5am, on Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th and Friday of November 2025
These road closures are needed to complete road surfacing around the Velizy Roundabout, ensuring both public
and workforce safety. Please note that these works are weather dependent, and dates may change subject to
weather conditions.

THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THEIR SPONSORSHIP FOR SPRING BULBS TO BE SUPPLIED FOR PLANTING THROUGHOUT OUR VILLAGES.

WITH BUILDING & ROADWORKS CONTINUING TO BE A ‘FEATURE’ AROUND US, COMING HOME TO A PRETTIER, COLOURFUL VILLAGE WILL HELP KEEP US HAPPIER AND SANE!

FURTHER DETAILS WILL FOLLOW BUT WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS TO ORGANISE AND HELP WITH PLANTING ONCE THE GROUND SOFTENS.
