You simply put in your postcode and it lists available grants in that area. https://grants-search.turn2us.org.uk/
It would be great if we could also encourage anybody living on a low income to check that they might be eligible for Council Tax support. https://www.eastherts.gov.uk/benefits-and-financial-support/council-tax-support

EASTWICK AND GILSTON PARISH COUNCIL
GILSTON PARISH COUNCIL
PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY
Due to the resignation of Cllr Sabrina Ahmed a vacancy has arisen on the Gilston Parish Council.
Parish Councillor’s and the Parish Council have the responsibility of representing the views of local residents on matters such as planning applications, management of local services and the local environment. In addition to the routine, our community faces a number of significant challenges resulting from East Herts Council’s decision to remove a substantial area of Metropolitan Green Belt and approve building of 10,000 houses and associated infrastructure within our parishes.
We are able to co-opt a resident for the vacant Parish Council seat and if you are interested in finding out about the role of Parish Councillor please contact Christine Law, Parish Clerk, on 01279 411646 or e-mail: Christine.law2@btinternet.com for an informal discussion.
